Due to the Pride celebrations and parade throughout the city the following services will be disrupted and changed as below. Please expect last minute service cancellations and delays to buses due to the road closures and excess traffic through the city over the weekend.

Services 37 and 37B
All day on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August St. James Street and the Palace Pier roundabout will be closed to all traffic.
Services towards Bristol Estate buses will divert from Old Steine via Edward Street, Upper Rock Gardens and St. James Street back to normal route and towards Meadowview buses will be diverting from St. James Street via Upper Rock Gardens and Edward Street, back to normal route from Old Steine.
Additionally on Saturday 1st August between 10:00 and 16:00 and also from 19:00 onwards, further diversions will be in place due to road closures around London Road and Brighton Station.
Service 37 travelling towards Bristol Estate will divert via Elm Grove, Freshfield Road, Edward Street, Upper Bedford Street and Bristol Road. Service 37 buses travelling towards Meadowview will follow the diversion in the opposite direction.
Service 37B travelling towards Bristol Estate will divert by continuing along Queens Park Road, onto Egremont Place, Edward Street, into Upper Rock Gardens to pick up the normal route from St. James Street. Service 37B buses travelling towards Meadowview will follow the diversion in the opposite direction.

Service 47
On Saturday 1st August service 47 will not be able to operate across the city and instead will be split into two halves. One half of service 47 will run a shuttle between Brighton Marina and Saltdean and the other half will run shuttles between Brighton Station/Seven Dials and Hangleton/West Hove Sainsburys. This service may be disrupted if the Police decide to close the roads around Brighton Station due to overcrowding. On Sunday 2nd August service 47 will run a full service but will be diverted via Eastern Road and Upper Rock Gardens in both directions.

Service 52
On Saturday 1st August service 52 will run a full route with diversions as follows: Buses towards Patcham between Rock Gardens and Fiveways service 52 will divert via Upper Rock Gardens, Egremont Place/Queens Park Road, Elm Grove, Lewes Road, Hollingdean Road / Upper Hollingdean Road and Ditchling Road. Buses towards Woodingdean will follow this diversion in reverse order. On Sunday 2nd August service 47 will run a full service but will be diverted via Eastern Road and Upper Rock Gardens in both directions.
