Services 37 and 37b

From 23:59 on Friday 31st until 04:00 on Monday 3rd August St. James Street and the Palace Pier roundabout will be closed to all traffic. Towards Bristol Estate buses will divert from Old Steine via Edward Street, Upper Rock gardens and St. James Street back to normal route.

Towards Meadowview buses will be diverting from St. James Street via Upper Rock Gardens and Edward Street, back to normal route from Old Steine.

Service 37 – Saturday 1st August – Between 10:00 and 16:00 and then from 19:00 further diversions will be in place due to road closures around London Road and Brighton Station.
Towards Bristol Estate buses will divert via Elm Grove, Freshfield Road, Edward Street, Upper Bedford Street and Bristol Road. Towards Meadowview the diversion will be followed in the opposite direction.

Service 37B–Towards Bristol Estate buses will divert via continuing along Queens Park Road, onto Egremont Place, Edward Street, into Upper Rock Gardens to pick up the normal route from St. James Street. Towards Meadowview the diversion will be followed in the opposite direction

Service 47

For Pride on Saturday 1st August the 47s will run a split route with one bus running a shuttle between the Marina and Saltdean and two buses running shuttles between Seven Dials and Sainsbury’s.

Sunday 2nd August
Both 47s and 52s will run a full service but will be diverted via Eastern Road and Upper Rock Gardens in both directions.

Service 52

The 52 service will run a full but diverted route. From Rock Gardens to Fiveways buses will divert via Upper Rock Gardens, Egremont Place/Queens Park Road, Elm Grove, Lewes Road, Hollingdean Road/Upper Hollingdean Road and Ditchling Road when heading for Patcham.
They will work this same diversion in reverse when heading to Woodingdean.

Sunday 2nd August
Both 47s and 52s will run a full service but will be diverted via Eastern Road and Upper Rock Gardens in both directions.
